Oligo Basics Ind. e Com. de Ração Ltda. was founded in 1999 in Castro, state of Paraná, Brazil,  having initially as objectives to service both animal feed rations and feed additives. During these last few years, the company has focused on the feed additive side which today concentrates around 85% of its sales. In march 2005,  Oligo Basics  moved to Cascavel, state of Paraná, where it inaugurated its new manufacturing facilities. These new facilities allowed Oligo Basics to continue its rapid growth and situated the company in the most densely poultry populated region of Brazil.

Today, Oligo Basics is focused in feed acidifier production and in the utilization of different types of fatty acids with nutraceutical properties. Thanks to this research, Oligo Basics has developed non-antibiotic products with antibacterial and anticoccidial properties. OligoBasics develops differentiated products with proven research in independent universities. This research has helped Oligo Basics to export its products to the USA and the European Union.
